Year One Concludes

Team Mass Elite’s 7v7 program had a successful first year and was able to showcase a good amount of local talent from the Commonwealth on the national stage. They earned the respect of the other teams and National media that covered the event.

“It was a real eye opener for some of the kids,” said head coach Will Croom, a former assistant coach for BIllerica Memorial high school, as well as owner of 1st String performance “It showed them that, hey we're in this and we belong. Their confidence grew with each game. It was a thing of beauty to watch these kids come together and really bond and buy in to what our objective and expectations were with the Mass Elite program. With the success of this program I am eagerly waiting for next year and I am already in the recruiting process to identify some candidates and top prospects from classes of 2017-2019 with a summer tryout in the works.”
