2016-2017 Mass Prep Stars MIAA All-State Boys Basketball Teams
Jakigh Dottin '17 - Cambridge Rindge & Latin

Welcome to our 2016-2017 MIAA Boys All-State Teams

This year we took a different approach to our All-State Teams, as we broke them up by region, based on how teams are positioned in the MIAA postseason tournament.

After our cumulative First Team All-State Team recognition, we divided the remaining players up into Eastern Mass. Central Mass. and Western Mass. teams. The sheer size and strength of Eastern Mass. teams were a major factor in the higher numbers, with the smallest region being the West.

All-State recognition was separated this year in order to credit the depth of talent across Massachusetts, while giving the stronger and larger areas their more deserved representation.
