About Us
Ryan Kilian – Founder and Managing Editor of Mass Prep Stars
Ryan has been involved in Massachusetts High School sports for over 20 years. Ryan is a former interscholastic athlete, who has lived the college recruiting process as a recruited multi-sport athlete, as a current high school coach and former college basketball coach. Ryan has coached basketball at the collegiate, youth, and high school levels and is also involved in middle school and youth football coaching.
Ryan has also been active in high school recruiting and talent evaluation for organizations in California and throughout New England. A freelance sports journalist, Ryan is the General Manager and Managing Editor at BostonLax.net and has also seen his work published in numerous news and recruiting sources, such as ESPN, Yahoo Sports, Recruiting Rundown and the Lowell Sun. Ryan is a school teacher in the Bedford Public School System and currently resides in Chelmsford, with his wife and two sons.
