The 2016 rankings were based on a combination of on-field performance, improvements, athletic intangibles, team influence, college recruiting, performance, potential and overall skill set.
The rankings include only players playing at a Massachusetts High School / Prep School or Mass. residents playing at a school outside of Mass. in New England.
The rankings are an accumulation of valued (coach, media, scout) opinions and should not to be used as a conclusive assessment.
Our final rankings list features 35 profiled student-athletes, as well as an alphabetical list of others who have caught the eyes of Mass Prep Stars in 2015 and over the course of their high school careers and off-seasons.
Postgraduates and players playing outside of New England are included below.
