Tyler Blaisdell ‘14 - Thayer Academy - Lacrosse
Thayer Academy goalie Tyler Blaisdell '14 had a storybook week in his final high school lacrosse week of his career.
On Monday, Blaisdell was named a prestigious Under Armour Lacrosse All-American. The Princeton-bound senior goalie was just one of three Massachusetts players selected, along with John Sexton (Lincoln-Sudbury, Mass.) and Tyler Breen (Taft - CT. Mass. resident).
On the field Blaisdell helped lead Thayer to two victories over St. Sebastian's on Monday and St. George's on Wednesday.
The two victories helped secure a 17-1 overall record for Thayer and No. 1 ranking in the Boston Lax, Massachusetts State final Top 20 poll of the 2014 season.
The wins also helped Thayer secure the program;s first outright ISL league Championship.
