Ten Top Football Performers Week 6 - 2014
Welcome to our sixth week of coverage for the 2014 Massachusetts football season as we highlight 10 of the top performances in Massachusetts for the prior week of action. This week we saw added some special defensive efforts to the mix of high scoring offensive players.

"10" Top Performances
Not to be outdone was our next nine to shine:
Andrew Hanwell ’15 – North Attelboro - The senior defensive back had three interceptions in a big 24-14 win over rival Attleboro.
Anthony Denitto ’16 – WR – Newton South – Denitto has proved to be Burton’s favorite target this season and his work on Saturday night proved to be essential in the Lion’s win. Denitto did a little of everything grabbing six catches for 148 yards, for three TDs. He also had an interception, grabbed a 2-point conversion and kicked three PATs in the win over Westford Academy.
Austin Burton ’17 – QB – Newton South – Burton makes his third straight appearance on our list, as he completed 15 passes for 344 yards and four TDs and in a narrow 29-22 win over Westford Academy.
Domenic Cozier ‘16 – RB – Milton Academy – The junior (pictured above left) ran for an incredible 311 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-32 win over Roxbury Latin.
Drew Jean-Guillaume ’15 – QB – Shepherd Hill– Jean-Guillaume compiled 312 yards of offense (170 rushing, 142 passing) to go with four TDs (three rushing, one passing) in a 53-24 win over Wachusett on Saturday.
Joe Bellomo ’15 – DE/RB – Holliston – The senior racked up an impressive four sacks to go with 10 total tackles (five solo, five assists) as Holliston remained undefeated, with a 42-7 win over Medway. The active Bellomo also had several quarterback hurries in the win.
Mike Maggipinto ’16 – RB – East Longmeadow - The junior, and frequent member of our list, ran for 238 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-12 win over Putnam.
Nick Smith ’16 – QB – Whitman-Hanson – Smith had a standout performance as he totaled 515 yards (309 yards passing, 206 yards rushing) and six touchdowns (three passing, three rushing) in a 42-3 win over Silver Lake.
Oliver Eberth ’16 – QB – St. John’s Prep– Eberth was simply amazing on Saturday, as he completed 18-of-22 passes for 305 yards and six touchdowns in Prep’s 58-31 win over Catholic Memorial.
