Athlete of the Week 10/24/16 - Bobby Maimaron - Duxbury - Football
Duxbury senior quarterback Bobby Maimaron '17 continued his impressive 2016, senior season, as he led the Dragons to a 42-8 victory over Hingham on Friday night.
The senior signal caller, who has led Duxbury to a 7-0 start to the 2016 season and a No. 1 ranking in our Mass Prep Stars poll, completed 13-of-21 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 76 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries.
The five touchdowns have become commonplace for Maimarion, who is steadily climbing the ladder of the all-time Massachusetts scoring leaders from the quarterback position.
Maimaron and the Dragons drew the No. 1 seed in the MIAA Div. 2 South Sectional playoff bracket. They will host Pembroke at 7 p.m. this Friday night.
