2019 Boys Basketball D2S Tournament Video Recap: No. 5 New Mission 58, No. 4 Westwood 44

Westwood -- The visiting No. 5 New Mission Titans kept their impressive 2019 season going, defeating No. 4 Westwood 58-44 on Friday night in the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional Quarterfinals.
New Mission senior Sequan Dare led the way with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks in the win. Dare was at his best in the fourth quarter, as he scored eight of his teams 21 points to hold off a Wolverine surge and cap the contest. Sophomore Juan Salas also had a strong game for the Titans, scoring 12 points for the victors.
James McGowan led all scorers with 20 points for Westwood (19-5).
With the win New Mission (20-4) advances to the Sectional semifinals next week where they will take on the winner of either No. 1 Randolph or No. 8 Whitman-Hanson.
