Mass Prep Stars & First String performance joined forces again in 2017, with our 4th Annual All-State Gridiron Super Teams.

Student-athletes were selected by the Mass Prep Stars and First-String Performance staff, along with recommendations from local area scouts, coaches and media members.

This postseason proved to be our most challenging one yet, as we continued to analyze video, statistics, and recommendations well into mid-December in order to name our teams. Our goal, as always, was to spread the wealth of recognition throughout the state to include Eastern, Central, Western Mass. and all NEPSAC stars playing at Massachusetts schools.

We continued to include postgraduates, as we did last season, for the first time, due to the continued number of private school reclassification, which has made it difficult to distinguish between classes. This makes the teams extremely difficult to make, thus leaving many qualified student-athletes off again.

The "Athlete" positions, on both sides of the ball, were named due to their versatility and ability to translate to numerous positions on the football field, along with the overflow of nominees at their position.

We lead off with our Mass Prep Stars football athletes of the year and follow with our First, Second and Third Teams.
