Massachusetts

The Massachusetts finals are set in Eastern Mass and in the Central /Western Final for this Tuesday. The Central/ West winner will play the Eastern Mass D2 champion on Saturday.

3:30 p.m. - Division 3 game - Dover-Sherborn vs. Weston

5:30 p.m. - Divison 2 game - Medfield vs. Concord-Carlisle

7:45 p.m. - Division 1 game - St. John's Prep vs. Duxbury

 

 

7 p.m. - Western Mass Champion Longmeadow vs. Central Mass Champion Algonquin at Foley Stadium in Worcester, MA

D1

  • Duxbury dominated Billerica 19-9 in Billerica behind Paul Hellar's '11 (5G, 4A) big day. See the Boston Herald write up of the game.
  • Despite a slow start to the season St. John''s Prep returns to Harvard to defend their D1 state title as they received 5 goals from Matt Scalise '11 to defeat Needham 10-9. See ESPN Boston for more on this one.

Reilly Naton of Duxbury v. Billerica

D2

  • Concord-Carlisle defeated Hingham in 3 OTs as junior middie Kevin Delehey '12 found the back of the net with 1:34 remaining in the final OT to pull out the victory. See ESPN Boston for more.
  • Medfield moved past Foxborough 11-5 for another meeting with Concord-Carlisle in the post-season on Tuesday. Read more on ESPN Boston.

Chris Walker-Jacks of C-C v. Hingham

D3

  • Dover-Sherborn has not let the foot off the accelerator yet in the post-season as they defeated North Reading 19-6. Read More on the win on Dover-Sherborn Patch
  • Despite being the No. 2 seed many looked at Weston's 12-10 win over Cohasset as an upset on Friday. Weston, led by goalie Jared Fong '12  and attack Joey Pasquale '12 (6 Goals in Cohasset win) will face D-S in for the D3 title Tuesday.

 

Connecticut

Saturday's Connecticut finals at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT turned out some impressive finishes with two one-goal games and Wilton continuing to impress after upsetting Darien big they won again convincingly to capture the Class M title.

Class L

Ridgefield defeated Fairfield Prep 11-10
