Mass Prep Stars Athlete of the Week:
RJ Noel ‘12 Lowell (MA) Football
Posted: September 19 2011
Lowell (MA) High School quarterback RJ Noel '12 had a game to remember on Saturday as the senior signal caller threw for 515 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 141 yards and 1 TD in a 44-41 loss to Nashua South (NH).
While both teams dialed up the offense on Saturday, both defenses also struggled keeping pace with the high octane passing (Lowell) and running (Nashua South) games.
Noel brought Lowell back into the game on multiple occasions and almost pulled off an amazing comeback as Lowell had the ball with less than a minute left in the game. Nashua South came through with a big stop at midfield to hold on and defeat Lowell at Stellos Stadium in Nashua, NH.
Noel and Lowell (1-1) take on Lawrence on Friday night in a battle of MVC schools.
