Olivia Healy ‘13 - Forward - Reading

Reading senior Olivia Healy ’13 had quite the week for the Lady Rockets.

The Richmond-bound Healy scored a career-high 42 points in a 56-39 win over Watertown. With those 42 points Healy moved into sole possession of first place as Reading's all-time leading scorer with 1,568 career points. The 42 points also was the highest ever scored by a Reading girls basketball player in a single game.

Her 1,568 points jumps past the previous record set by Brian Wilson 28 years ago.

Healy has led the Rockets to an undefeated 14-0 start to the 2012-2013 campaign. Reading has one of their toughest tests coming tonight as they take on league rival Lexington High School in a re-match of a close battle earlier in the season in Lexington. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Reading Memorial High School.
