Wellesley Wins 2011 Coaches Challenge Cup
Wellesley hoisted teh flags Saturday

Wellesley (7-0) showed how impressive their team defense was Saturday as they held Concord-Carlisle (7-1) to two goals en route to a 5-2 win. Connor Darcey '12 was amazing in net for Wellesley all tournament. C-C had their scoring opportunities and can take solace in outshooting Wellesley and controlling the ball for the majority of the game. Some cage wide shots, nice Darcey saves and tough rainy weather were all factors. These two squads are clearly the best in D2 right now but both have big games this week as Wellesley hosts Needham Tuesday night and Concord-Carlisle plays host to Weston on Tuesday.

Dover-Sherborn was also very impressive as they completely dominated Andover all day. D-S has great team speed at the midfield and attack, led by midfielder Billy Polk '12 and attack PJ Copponi '11.

Hingham and L-S also bounced back with nice dominating victories over Winchester and North Andover respectively.
