Middlesex Impresses in our first Prep/ Private game of the year
On Friday afternoon New England Prep Stars took in some ISL action in Concord, MA as the Middlesex School hosted Brooks. Despite playing a tough game and never giving in Brooks was no match for Middlesex, especially at the skill positions, as Middlesex won easily 35-13.
The tandem of Nick Andonian '13 (3 passing TDs)(pictured below) and Bryson Gilbert-Bono '12 connected on two beautiful throw and catches for scores (82 and 42 yards) as Middlesex built a 28-6 lead at the half. RB Devin Chapman '12 was also in on the scoring as the senior running back ran for a 2-yard first half touchdown and a 9-yard second half score. WR Nick Widen '13 also caught a TD pass from Andonian in the first half on a 25-yard strike before the half was over (see video below).
Andonian was very impressive spinning the ball for Middlesex and nobody on the Brooks squad could cover Gilbert-Bono on the day.
