Welcome to our NEWEST weekly column,

Mass Prep Stars Weekly

Welcome to our fifth addition of our NEW weekly column, Mass Prep Stars Weekly. This is our third column of the 2014-2015 school year. This column is intended to update readers on athlete news, athlete interviews, recruiting information, links, twitter updates, photos, videos, and everything else Mass Prep Stars related.

We will use this column to update all four of the sports Mass Prep Stars covers (Football, Girls and Boys Basketball, and Boys Lacrosse) at different points throughout the year,

This week we focus on football, with a few Mass Prep Star Division 1 boys basketball college commitments.

Football

 - We continued last week with our NEW video element that was added to Massprepstars.com this season. Correspondent Jeremy Weiner attended two more early season games and you can see the depth and quality of his work for Mass Prep Stars and massprepstars.com below.

- Poll: Our third weekly game poll asked readers and fans, What is the “Must” cover MIAA football game of the Sept. 19th & 20th weekend?"
We listened and will have some coverage at the three top voted on games again this week. Here were the results when the poll closed late Thursday night.

- Football Player Rankings - Our 2015 football player rankings are out! We will be updating this monthly via twitter and massprepstars.com

Here are our Initial Top 5 ranked players in the Class of 2015:

- Next week, after a slight delay, we will add a Pre-Ranking list that  looks at some of the top football talent in the Class of 2016. This is an extremely early look at some of the top players who have caught our eye to date. This list will be evolving over the course of the next year +. We look forward to hearing from many of you out there in regards to our Rankings' lists.

 

Boy's Basketball

- It was a big week of local boys basketball commitments as two boys basketball players in the Class of 2015 made their college commitments known. The announcements were announced by the players and their AAU basketball programs on twitter below.
