COLUMBIA, MD – The Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors boys lacrosse program competed this past weekend in the prestigious National High School Lacrosse Showcase. The Warriors were the lone team from Massachusetts to receive an invitation to the event, which featured some of the top lacrosse programs in the country.

L-S concluded the three-day tournament with a 3-3 record, highlighted by wins over New Trier (IL), Hereford Zone (MD), and St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes (VA). Their narrow losses to Yorktown (NY) (1 Goal) , Gonzaga (DC) (2 Goals) and Georgetown Prep (MD) (2 Goals) were equally impressive in nature.

The strong showing on the National stage exhibited the depth that the L-S program has, as the Warriors recently graduated four All-American’s, as part of a decorated senior class who recently won the 2016 MIAA Division 1 State championship. Class of 2016 standouts, Connor McCarthy (Princeton), Harlan Smart (Dartmouth), Eric Holden (Hobart) and Caleb Geitz (Bowdoin) earned Eastern Mass. All-American distinction, were named to our First-Team Mass Prep Stars Super Team, and earned numerous other post-season honors.
