2017 Mass Prep Stars & 1st String Performance Pre-Season Football Super Team - Offense
Jake Bobo '18 - Belmont Hill

Welcome to our Fifth Annual Mass Prep Stars and First String Performance Collaborative 2017 Pre-Season Offensive Super Team.

Mass Prep Stars and First String Performance joined together again this fall to evaluate, analyze and predict some of the top Massachusetts players at the Offensive, Defensive and Specialist positions. Our expanded pre-season team highlights some of the top players at each position in Massachusetts football.

It was another difficult process, narrowing down the expanded list this season, as there were many deserving candidates. This season we named a starting first-team and listed the individual players at their nominated positions in alphabetical order after our First-teamers, who are highlighted at the top of the position lists, in BOLD and italics.

Our returning 2016 End-of-Season Super Team members have stars after their names.

The deep Quarterback and O-Line positions in 2017 lead our Pre-Season Offensive unit that includes MIAA, Massachusetts private schools, and Mass. residents playing in New England schools.

We are also releasing our 2017 Pre-Season Super Team Defensive squad today, which will be followed by our first look the Class of 2018 rankings and a look at the Class of 2019 rankings “watch list” next week. We will also highlight Massachusetts Prep Stars playing out-of-state, as well as postgraduate players, and some NEPSAC newcomers in an additional post.

Stay tuned as we look to continue to provide you with some of the top coverage of Massachusetts student athletes all year in all sports. If you wish to nominate athletes for lists and ranking consideration, as well as additional live athlete coverage, please email [email protected]
