2013 Boys Lacrosse: Ten Top Performers Week 1
This week we begin our weekly "10 Top Performers" column that launches each Tuesday of the boy's lacrosse season.
This section highlights "Ten Top Performers" from the prior week of boy's lax action.
MIAA and Prep / Private Schools in Massachusetts are represented as well as Mass. residents playing and going to school outside of the state.

"10" Top Performances
Not to be outdone was our next nine to shine:
Tyler Blaisdell ‘14 Goalie - Thayer Academy (MA) – Blaisdell made 21 saves in an 9-6 win over Rivers School.
Chris Gorman ’14 Goalie - Shrewsbury (MA) – The junior had an incredible 32 saves in an 8-6 win over Grafton.
Mike Carbone ‘13 Attack - Marshfield (MA) – The senior attack scored four goals, including the game winner goal in OT, as Marshfield captured their Third Chowda Cup title with an 11-10 OT win over Catholic Memorial.
Jay Drapeau ’14 Attack – Westford Academy (MA) - Drapeau, who was our first 2013 player of the week, scored seven goals, including the game winner with five seconds on the clock, in a 11-10 win over Concord-Carlisle. Drapeau also added two assists in the win.
Tyler Bogart ’15 Attack - Catholic Memorial (MA) – Bogart continued his strong start to the 2013 season as he scored six goals and assisted on two more in an 11-2 win over Scituate in the opening round game of the Chowda Cup.
Larsen Bidstrup ’15 Attack – Governor's Academy (MA) – Bidstrup (pictured below) had two strong performances this week in wins over Groton and Belmont Hill. Bidstrup scored three goals and had two assists in 14-7 win over Groton on Wednesday and three goals and three assists in a 12-7 win over Belmont Hill on Saturday.

Robert Shaw '14 Goalie - Roxbury Latin (MA) - Shaw made 11 saves and added a goal and an assist from his goalie position in a 10-1 win over St. Paul's School.
Colin Jackson '13 Attack / Midfield – Nipmuc (MA) - The Nipmuc senior points leader had one goal and seven assists in a 12-5 win over Milford.
Drew Smiley ’14 Attack St. John's Shrewsbury (MA) - The junior attack has been on fire early in the season as he scored three goals and dished out two more in a 10-8 win over South Hadley.
