Each week we highlight 10 of the top performances in Massachusetts for boys and girls basketball for the prior week of action.

Player of the Week:
Infiniti Thomas-Waheed ’14 – Newton North – Our MAPS player of the week Thomas-Waheed was instrumental in two wins for the Tigers. In a 62-35 win over Needham she scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out 9 assists and had 4 blocks.
Jen Gemma ’13 – Fontbonne – The senior netted her 1000th career point in win over North Middlesex on her way to an 18 points and 17 rebound night.
Devon Caveney ’13 – Andover – The senior guard had 15 points, including her 1000th in a big, 45-42 MVC Large win over North Andover.
Maura Buckley ’14 – Arlington Catholic – The steady junior forward continues her strong season as she averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds in big league wins over Bishop Fenwick and Cardinal Spellman.
Hannah Kiernan ’14 – Masconomet – The junior forward sliced and diced her way to 15 points in a big 52-41 nonleague win over North Andover.
Kat Fogarty ’13 – Governor’s Academy – The Marist bound Fogarty had 25 points on 10-11 from the free throw line, along with three 3-pointers to help lead Gov’s to a 46-44 win over Tabor Academy.
Chris Baldwin ’15 – Springfield Central – Baldwin exploded for 23 points, 18 rebounds, and 8 blocks in a 67-57 win over Manchester, CT at the Hoop Hall Classic in Springfield, Mass.
Tyler Nelson ’14 – Central Catholic – Nelson (pictured above left) had an amazing first half on his way to scoring a game-high 21 points in a 70-49 win over MVC Large rival Lowell.
Aaron Falzon ’15 – St. Mark’s - The 6-foot-7 sophomore forward scored 33 points in a big 65-62 ISL win over previously red-hot Roxbury Latin.
Wayne Selden '13 - Tilton School (NH) - The Boston native and Kansas commit came back to his home state and led his team to two big wins over the weekend as he scored 21 and 24 points in tight wins over St. Andrews (63-61) at the BABC prep Classic and Vermont Academy (71-67) at the Hoop Hall.
Sam Stogdon ’14 – Concord Academy – The 6-foot-6 junior post player had 16 points, 19 rebounds, 6 blocked shots and 6 steals in a 64-37 win over Portsmouth Abbey.
